99centqueen

Hello, I am the 99cent queen.  I will share my thoughts and feeling about life, love and other subject that I just like to talk about.  I started blogging a year ago on another site and found out the reality of blogging…it is a JOURNEY. I have stopped and started projects, but I am on my way I believe to big things.  My interest in using the internet to get myself across to others came when I was working at an undisclosed locations. I never really used the internet for things other than to see what I could buy and check my email.  Then all of a sudden I found out that people use these things called “blogs” to write information about all kinds of things from their personal life to the latest news topic of the day.  That got me interested about learning how to make a blog. Then I discovered that you can also have people following you and also make money? Now that made me think about it even further. Since then, I have not been too consistent in my journey because I didn’t find what I wanted to talk about.  Well, I am glad to say that I believe I have found what I love.

Last year I left my job to pursue my dream of working from home. I am happy to say that it has been almost a year now and still working from home. It has been a bumpy road with the way the economy is currently but I have been able to stay afloat.  Since I have shown myself that I can and will be working from home (for at least as long as I have a job) I am also going to move on to the next step…..a blog.

I am making money but not as much  I was when I was working outside the home, but believe you me, it has been well worth it.  I have the ability to stay with my kids and take care of them as well as get some housework in when I am taking breaks (that just means I am doing house work and now work-work…is that really considered a break?) Even though the money is not what it used to be, I have been able to maintain.  I have used all kinds of means to make our ends meet for this family, coupons, freebies, rebates, and if you didn’t know even playing and winning some sweepstakes (have won some money) has actually help us keep ourselves in our budget.

I have learned a lot of information this year and would like to give others the opportunity to learn more about frugal living.

You may ask why I call myself the 99centqueen? It is all about living on a buget, in your means and using your money and stretching out that dollar.  I actually called my self that becuase where I live there is a store called the 99cent only stores.  This place sells name brand (as well as other side brands) items as well as fruits and vegetables for only 99 cents.  I got addicted, but it feeds my family.  So that is why I call my blog the 99centqueen.  It is all about my knowledge on how to buy when you are on a tight buget (isn’t that everyone?)
